The Tribe

Through The Tribe, parents and children are educated about Jewish values as they participate in parent-facilitated games and activities, chosen from a curriculum that guides them in collectively experiencing mitzvot and middot. The Tribe strengthens Jewish identity and character by teaching Jewish values experientially, builds Jewish community by creating connections with other Jewish families, and strengthens Jewish families by deepening the parent-child relationship. After 9 months of Tribe participation, families reported a 260% increase in feeling connected to the Jewish community. Tribe families reported a 69% increase in the frequency of intentionally engaging in “living Jewish values and doing ‘good deeds’ on a monthly or more frequent basis.” More than half of Tribe parents reported that their relationship with their child(ren) was better or closer because of their Tribe participation.
